Last year I went for the black LN. Mainly because I had the old model LV.

Don't get me worng, I can see the attraction of the C LV, but owning the anniversary green LV and then Rolex bring out a new Green Sub left me says no thanks to it.

So I know C LV owners love them but what one would ye go for and why?

I really like the Green Sub in the jeweler's case, I just don't think I'd be able to wear it as much as the black. So, the universal black for me all the way... Side note, every time I see a Sub in the case the retail has gone up, maybe I should have made my move a while ago....

I'm picking green because it looks awesome and is one of the few high profile colors I would personally wear. It is a very high profile green, yet is isn't tacky or blingy. If I was going to wear the watch daily, I'd say black or maybe buy a black and add a green bezel so I can switch it up.

Don't want to turn this into a price thread but I believe since I bought mine exactly one year ago retail of the LN has gone up over here by over 1000€, not helped by the 2% vat increase we had.

ok to be fair they are both amazing watches. and so different in so many ways. i think the question you might want to ask is do you like to have that subtle black that seems to match everything? or do you like a green sunburst dial that looks like different shades of colours depending on how the light hits it?

do you like something that stands out more? man its a tough choice. but since you already own a LNC i say go for it and get a LVC!!

Not sure in how many was they are different...one is green, one is not.

Do you like green...a lot? I think the green one is pretty nice looking...and different.

That green is awesome in person. Definitely different when seen live.
But as everyone says it just depends if you're feeling

I voted black as I personally don't like the green dial. Now if they made one with a black dial and a green ceramic bezel (á la the original Subbie LV), then it'd be a different story. But as it stands the green dial kills it for me.

Driver,
I have often wondered if I put a green ceramic bezel on my black LN, would I like it? Probably YES. :D But I doubt I will do it.

46crew I swear I have seen a pic of that somewhere probably TRF. It looked kind if cool but IMO the black on black and green on green is perfect.

While I can appreciate the green. I wanted the icon. 116610LN is an awesome piece. I bought mine in August 2011 and it has seen two price increases.
