Just cleaned one of the first watches i had in my youth. I think it is from 1977/78

Is it worth anything ?

Not sure about this centre second version, but the DS as a chronograph often reaches between US $750 to $1,200. I am thinking here of the Alex Creville or Mike Doohan commemorative versions.

Should be worth something though, as it seems in pretty good condition and a nice looking watch. I am not sure that now is the time for theses time pieces to reach there full potential though. Markets are down for such watches presently.

Depends on provenance too. Did you own it from new, do you have papers & the box or is it just the watch? Are there any special features of this one and was it made for a particular reason? These things affect price and buyers sentiment.

Jim
