Having only recently acquired my long sought after Colt 11 Auto I am now reluctant to wear it surfing , swimming ,snorkeling , 4WD , off road motrobike riding , all of which I do often ( well my mate is tryinmg to get me back surfimg at age 50  )
it is my everyday wear and I love it . Cool ,classy , understated.
My mate has a great big flashy Bulgari which I refer to as the Vulgari

Which brings me to my question.

What is a good value $100 dive watch . Really , I am never going to go diving ASFAIK but who can tell.
So if I ever do it'll be a shallow dive.
I would like it to have seals on the crown
It really only needs to have time and date functions
It can be either auto or quartz
The crystal would probably have to be fairly robust as I am a rough bugger with my casual watches
I have done the Google thing and come up with
Vostok Amphibian , Wenger , Orient Mako and Momentum
Any other suggestions and any recomendations for AD's on the net or ebay
pete

Seiko SKX007. It's the watch most divers actually have on their wrist, and it is a tank. Citizen makes a few Promasters which are rather common, but the Seiko is really the gold standard of dive watches that you can afford to beat up (as common when diving). The Seiko Monster series, Superior, and Marine Master are all slightly fancier (in that order), but the SKX is really the all-business performer. Crazy enough, mine is my most accurate watch too at less than a second off a day.
