Post subject:  Help identifying 14k Quarter Repeater Hi-Grade Pocket Watch

Hello

I am a pocket watch enthusiast and i few quite a nice collection. Some for sale too.
Anyway, i recently purchased this 14k quarter repeater and it was not cheap. My feeling of first glance said it was a Jules Jurgensen, but now i'm not so sure.

Any help or guide to identify the manufacturer of this watch is highly appreciated !!

The movement seem to be high grade with wolf teeth, and tried LeCoultre, Patek, Vacheron, Jules Jurgensen, Matile, Ed. Perregaux, Breguet, but no match. The curiosity is the twin bridge near the balance staff. The movement cover reads: "Repetition a Quarts", a 5 digit serial no., and several medals. The dial does not say anything. Under the dial it is writen something like Swiss, Brevet, and a no. but nothing helpful to identify the watch as i already tried all the sources of my convenience: catalogues, internet, collectors, friends, etc.

The brevet number might actually help - it's a Swiss patent number and if you can trace who the patent was issued to you may have something. Clearly 19th century as key wind, but are there any dates on the medallions? Also have you been able to date the case from the hallmarks?

The case hallmarks / symbols as you can see in pictures is a Squirrel, as per Swiss 14K gold.
I don't want to go over and remove the dial again but the patent at the time i had it checked wasn't of any help.
If i should have the watchmaker's name then it would be easier. Or if someone could help identify a brevet number withough knowing what year was issued but definitely in Swiss, then i could remove again the dial.

Thanks
PFD

I believe that there are some Swiss patent records online - headed to a meeting now so can't check, but from memory there are some.

Does anyone know where i can find the patent records online ?

Any ideas about this movement ?

I've just dismantled the watch and under the dial it reads:

+ (swiss cross)
15229 depose (possible brevet / registered model)
71605 48

It's here - https://www.swissreg.ch/srclient/faces/jsp/start.jsp

but 15229 doesn't return any matches.
