I have a chance to buy this Rolex Milgauss for what I think is a good price. This is from a reputable seller and I have verified him with a few other people..

How much do you think this watch would be worth on average in 90% condition?

Rolex Milgauss White Dial M Serial. (90%) condition.

Dial: White with Orange Markers

Model # 116400

Bracelet # 72400

Serial # M serial (2008-2009)

I've seen these non-green crystal ones go for anywhere from 4.5-to 6k. If it's an M serial, might be around 5 to 5.5k. As boogie suggested check the boards on TRF and TZ. Plenty to compare.

This particular watch is 90% condition and is $3250.00 What I'm trying to figure out is why it's so cheap. The ones I have been seeing are going for anywhere between 4k-5k

This watch also comes with box and all paperwork as well

Well... you know the rule. Buy the seller. Make sure you get yourself covered first (ie. inspection period, money back guarantee, etc) before you buy. But 3250 is a great price. I would do that all day.

I agree, but he gave me 4 email contacts and they all said he is good to go..(but how do I know them emails were not emails that he made himself?) also...he said he tried to call me to talk to me about it, but when he called, his number is blocked ???

He did give me his number to call him back though. But with the price, the emails that I do not know 100% absolutely for sure they they are even a different person...and the blocked number.I am more skeptical now..

I know the golden rule, if its too good to be true, it probably is...

Oh, and his join date on TRF is Sept 17.....

Any ideas or suggestions guys?

The white dial typically sells for less but that price is way too low. With his recent join date and the fact you can't verify if he was actually the one replying to your emails to his references, I'd walk away.

Forget walking I would run.

In terms of references he should provide you with names and phone numbers of people he has dealt with in the past.

If you go on to TRF and deal with any of those trusted sellers there are DOZENS of people who will gladly talk to you on the phone to give you a reference of the trusted sellers.

This guy that wants to sell you this watch......well if it walks like a duck an quacks like a duck....

edit - if you really want this watch go look for members DavidSW or justrolexes on rolexforums.com. these are some serious trusted sellers! everyone on that site (and a few other sites) will vouch for these 2. it will likely cost you a bit more than what this guy wants for his watch but at least when you buy you know you're getting the real deal

That price is crazy cheap. Id buy a dozen of them right now if I could confirm its legit.

Sounds like nothing is lining up. New seller, too cheap...no good. Where is the seller located? Im sure one of us would be more than happy to meet up with him for you if he's local.
