After reading some nice reviews of other forum members, and seeing the FC Moontimer on the cover of iW this summer I have found myself looking into their offerings and the brand as a whole. Went over to the home site after not finding much chatter on the other forums, and found the CEO Peter Stas answering inquires and directing most of the small message board. Now it could have been an assistant, but I would like to think it could still be a young company really trying to build a customer service base. As for the watches, well they make one hell of a sharp looking dress watch and even some of their sportier models still carry a timeless style. I am most fond of the Moontimer myself ![]() |

If it was any simpler, it would be a Movado. |

Not even close to movado. Movado is cheap and ugly. FC makes very classic looking aches that are automatic at a very nice price point. There is nothing classic about movado. |

That's a fine looking dress watch. What's the RRP on that one? |

I believe retail is $1950 and I have seen listing prices on the bay and amazon for $1400. Although I would feel a bit weird ordering from amazon I think the positive reviews are enough to get me past that |

Although I would feel a bit weird ordering from amazon I think the positive reviews are enough to get me past that I bought mine off amazon. I figured for a $1300 retail piece for $850 off amazon, i wasn't going to lose any sleep over any factory warranty problems, especially with a simple, time tested 2824-2. |

Sharp looking piece - even the watch snob approves of FC so you really can't go wrong ![]() I'm following in Tom's footsteps - for under $1,000 to try out a classic looking piece, where's the danger. |

that's actually a really smart looking watch. Not comparable to say the Navitimer Olympus, but for that price it's a great daily wear. |
