Hi

I am thinking of buying a second hand rolex datejust bi metal 1986, But I don't want to rush into one I have seen one with box and instructions and warranty. What are they like as a watch ?
And what price would be fair to pay for one. Also what are the movements like in them?

Thank you. :D

eBay completed listings (sold) search is really handy. However, b&p is not common with eBay vintage ones. Good lucj

I had a TT Datejust with the navy blue dial dated a tad later than your desired date. Mine was an R serial. I quite miss mine, but more I miss the dial color.

Probably the quintessential Rolex IMO, next to the Submariner. Should have a 3000 series motor, either a 3035 or a 3135, which is a workhorse movement and still used today. I paid under 3k for mine but without box and papers so should be about the same or a bit more since yours have the B/P.

Nice Joe! Congrats. Looks great. And a timeless classic. Reminds me of the ones my parents have.
