Pictures below are of my 44mm steelfish on my 6.5" wrist. Do you guys think I could go any bigger? Or would anything larger look ridiculous? Or does this even look ridiculous on my wrist? ![]() I have recently become size conscious about my watch. ![]() ![]() |

As always, it's really up to you to decide if it's the right fit. That being said, the watch looks perfectly sized for your wrist. It might be a stretch to go bigger, but there are TONS of options in the <=44 mm range. |

I agree with Ian. The steelfish looks good on you. I don't think I'd go bigger. |

Well I don't think that you could go any longer lug to lug - that's pretty much the full width of your wrist so a larger watch would need to have shorter lugs to compensate. As it is, that looks just about perfect. |

Second shot reveals the true fit, close up of wristies always appear larger than actual. I think it looks great on your wrist. I'd agree with Roff, lug to lug length that's about the max I'd go. Omega seems to have shorter lug to lug lengths while IWC makes some of the longest ones in the 43-46Mm dial range. |

having 8' wrists myself, consider yourself lucky. lol. just about every watch company out there makes a watch in the 44-45mm range. i dont think you should go drasticall bigger. i.e. no super avengers in your future. imho that looks ridiculous on smaller wrists.... |

I'm with the others on this - the Steelfish looks spot-on in terms of size for your wrist. And it's a spot-on Breilting as well! ![]() |

Beyond Man wrote: Or does this even look ridiculous on my wrist? Yes! It's an embarrassment. You should sell the Fish to me immediately at a deep discount. Seriously, I wouldn't go any bigger. 40 - 44mm looks like the range for you (as it is for most people). And fortunately, that's where the best watches are anyway. |

Yep, perfect. I had the same watch and if it had fit that good I wouldn't have sold it. |

SOSF looks fine. Chrono/Skyland Avenger at 45mm would probably be OK too. Just forget the Bentleys and Super Avengers! ![]() |

My fish was too small, but the Bentley and SA are still big watches on me. I really can't see how people with under a 7" wrist could enjoy wearing those things. |

IMO I think its just about what you can carry off. Your wrists size are very similar to mine and I feel I can carry for a SOSF no problem but bigger , no. That said the SF wares better than other 44MMs out there. For some reason it feels, to me anyway, smaller that other 44mms. I would geuss it is something to do with the fact that is is raised off the wrist highter than others. ![]() |
