ive always liked the looks of these watches and the fact they are different. would want one only for casual wear. im not a big fan of owning dlc or coated type watches for the scratch factor.
so the ceramic has caught my eye. just wanting to know if the top part of the case is a "solid" or formed piece of ceramic. or is it ceramic coated like people are getting done with exhaust headers these days?

from everything i have found. no one has confirmed one way or the other.

I can't speak for this specific B&R, but generally is a watch has a ceramic case, then it's ceramic all the way through. I've not come across any watch that is ceramic coated in the way that a DLC watch is coated.

i love the look of the 46mm bell and ross models for a purely casual wear watch. i love the "black look" watches out there today but have been reluctant to purchase any brand because of scratching and really no easy way to refinish. (compared to polishing etc a stainless model)

also, im taking bell and ross for what they are. im not confusing them as a high end watchmaker. i know they use workhorse movements with a "catchy" design. so thats why i was a little leary about the actual ceramic....

I think some of the less expensive Chanel J12 lookalike watches are ceramic coated. But I might be wrong.

ok, thats settled. now its do i like it enough to actually purchase one...
even with a discount it seems that buying new will mean an absolute butt raping if you ever go to sell. just from looking on watchrecon how bad they drop in price...
