I was checking out some vintage Vulcain watches and liked their alarm models. I also came across this Nivrel that I thought was cool - http://shop.nivrel.com/en/edition-herit ... larm/a-40/.

Admittedly, I don't know much about them, but love the concept and would consider buying one - new or vintage.

Any recommendations or feedback or things to consider would be appreciated.

Thank you.

For alarm watches I think JLC makes excellent pieces, contemporary and vintage.

Yes JLC makes exceptional Alarm complications, with the added benefit of sounding much better than most out there. I have a couple of youtube videos showing this, here:

If I could only have one alarm it would be JLC, if I could have two it would be JLC and Vulcain so I think that you have the 'obvious' choices. There are quite a lot of vintage alarms available for relatively reasonable prices.
