well, i finally pulled the pin and picked up the der meistertaucher. first oris. i love this watch. awesome wrist presence. feels really balanced on the wrist for such a big watch, thanks to the titanium. BUT it doesnt feel cheap or light like some titanium watches do. i have an 8" wrist so it fits me perfect. the lume shot is in my bathroom with some light still coming in, no where near totall darkness..

i just noticed in the lume shot it looks like the dial is out of line. must be the angle of the pic with my iphone.... everything is normal on the watch

almost forgot to add. for those of you not familiar with this model. when you purchase the watch, it comes in a bad a%^ case. actually its a pelican brand waterproof case. inside is a
rubber strap with deployment buckle, and watch tools to change your links, straps. so when you factor that stuff in, its one hell of a deal for the money

yes you are def. right on the bang for buck. got a pretty hefty discount. lots of features etc. for a watch that other brands would be charging $4 to $5k.
they are definately under the radar in the watch world.
