A skeletonized watch under $1,000 is going to mean Chinese. You can get some less mainstream brands for around that price point, check out watchbuys.com for some predominantly German ones starting at around $1,000 or look at some of the lower end Oris. Otherthan that there are companies like Steinhart, although some people will vehemently dislike them because a lot of the designs are 'homage' - designs that look remarkably similar to watches from higher end brands. |

I dont want a Chinese watch I know that. Being Norwegian and an American I strongly support swiss made and American made watches. So that beings said it doesn't necessarily have to be a skeleton just a great reliable, stylish mechanical moment. Thanks again for the help as always roff |

Have a look at Frederique Constant watches, they may have something that suits your requirements. Another possibility in that price range is Hamilton. |
