What is your experience with regards to international travel, customs and watches?
Are customs likely to nab you if you have one watch on your wrist and a couple more in your bag?
Would it fly if you declare them right from the start and explain that you are a certified watch addict and you just need at least three watches with you to survive and all of them will be leaving the country again in a few days time?
Most of my travel with my watches has been Hong Kong, China and Taiwan where it has been no problem.
This time I'm going home down under to Oz and every time I go back they always take one look at me and point me towards the red channel :-(
Maybe I should shave and get a haircut this time ;-)

Will a certain Breitling travel bag be accompanying you on the trip?

If you're not carrying papers, boxes and so on with you they surely can't charge you customs for it? Even though I'm sure that you're watches look brand new which could pose a little problem.

I've never had any issues, but take a photo of the watches with something that can time the photo as being before the start of your trip and you should be fine. Something like a website that has the date / time so that people can actually see that you haven't 'faked' the photo with an earlier newspaper or something.

I took 4 watches to Jamaica in February and no problems. However, I did not have anyone go through my carry on. Did not really give it a thought as they are mine/wife's and did not have boxes/papers/receipt. Can't be any different the a woman traveling with bunch of jewelry, no?

206 pages of wrist shots... I imagine they'll see that and wave you through just to get rid of you.

im always curious why people want or need to travel with more than one watch at a time when they go on vacation. i dont get it. your only gone for a couple of weeks, surely you can live with one watch while youre away......no?

I know the Canada customs website has a form you fill out and have an appraisal done for expensive jewellery items you take traveling.

Well I'm now safe and sound on the ground in Perth, Western Australia with 3 watches and no dramas with customs. I actually decided on an honest approach and declared them but after a simple explanation I was waved through. I normally hate Aussie customs but this time they have behaved in a civilized manner.

No! Personally it's a G-Shock/orange monster for the beach and a Breitling for the the evening. I wouldn't abuse any of my Breitlings with sand and salt.

Pity it's Perth, Wessa. If you'd been the other side of the country i would've suggested a meet up!

Never had any problems but, as Pan Am used to say, just in case, I carry a copy of the purchase receipts with me.
