she has her eye on the Cintree Curvex with a diamond bezel and as luck would have it, I found a store selling them for 40% off. I still talked him down another 3%. is this the best I can do on this brand or do you think I can do better?

That's probably about it new, but you'll still take a huge hit on resale. Take a look on eBay and you'll see what I mean!

I looked on ebay and found the same model going for 1000 more than what I'm paying. I know every watch drops in value the second you buy it but I'm not seeing that huge hit in resale value like you're saying. retail on it I think is like 10,300 or something and I would be getting it for 5900. lowest on ebay i can find is 7000. so i guess i answered my question. But I thought muller was a right up there with rolex? Am I wrong?

Selling at that price or asking that price?????

Franck Muller has a lot of high end pieces - way above Rolex, but they also have pieces at the entry level (for them).

I guess technically its asking since it hasn't sold yet but that's the reserve price. The piece's she is comparing it to are the breitling colt, and the tag heuer link. All have mother of pearl dials and diamond bezels except for the muller which has a silver dial. She doesn't care about movement she just cares about the look and actually prefers quartz bec she doesn't want to deal with winders. The muller in question is the smaller one not the large one
