good day guys, this is my new post on this forum..

i'm thinking to buy this watch during my holiday in Newcastle, UK. Any opinions about this watch? my gf had asked the price for me and the retailer can only offer me about 2200 pounds, is that reasonable? Please help me out on this as i've been thinking about it for a month and i still cannot make the decision...

cheers =)

At 2200 pounds there are a ton of other options. I dont have access to any pricing at the moment, but there should be plenty of Breitlings, IWC, Omega etc in that range. Any of which id recommend over the Oris. Oris makes a great value of a watch, but at 2200 pounds youre creeping into another category. Under $2000 and Oris makes a fine choice.

No experience with the piece, but.....

It's ugly, and twice the price of what an Oris should cost.

May I suggest the non-chrono version of the Bell and Ross BR02.

In my opinion Bell and Ross is a better brand than Oris and the BR02 is a better watch then the Carlos Coste.

Please see my review here:

If you have to have a chrono then theTag Heuer Aquaracer 500 Calibre 16 is also a better watch from a better brand. Please see here:

I know we could provide both of these for a lot less than £2200.
