On the WRUW board yesterday, Shark simply mentioned that his SMP 2254 was the most comfortable watch of his present collection. That struck a chord with me because for all the things we talk about-- complications, finishing, workmanship, some of which do affect comfort, it truly is important and yet at times I think I have worn less-comfortable pieces because of the other allures of a particular watch. So, I thought I'd try a topic here, what is the most comfortable watch you own, or have owned? I posted here because it may or may not be a Breitling. For example, for me, it was this: ![]() So, what is (or was) it for you? |

This. ![]() Despite the size, the fact that the case curves around the wrist and the reverse style of the deployant makes it super comfortable. |

Most comfortable was probably my SMP America's Cup LE, although I could just as easily say it's my TAG Link. The SMP was the older, non-co-axial version, and was 11.5mm thick. The newer ones are 13mm, which I'm concerned might be less comfortable. Least comfortable: Chronomat Evo. That damn thing hurt my wrist - no exaggeration. ![]() |

Interesting topic Scott, I've become more and more tuned into the comfort/fit issue. These are my most comfortable past (#3) and present (#1&2). 1... Omega seamater 2254 ![]() 2... Omega X-33 (thanks for the reminder Don!) ![]() 3... Breitling Cockpit ![]() |

There are times when I feel like I'm being too hard on Breitling for the state of their current lineup. Then I see something like Kodiak's picture of his Cockpit, realize Breitling discontinued that in favor of the Galactic, and I'm reminded all over again why I'm so pissed off at Breitling these days. |

This was a close call between the 5001 and PO8500 but the 5001 wins. I don't even feel it on my wrist, it wears perfectly on me and the deployment is great. The least comfortable without question was the AP ROO Black Themes. ![]() This one actually caused pain in my wrist. Hated everything about it! ![]() |

That's a tough one, but I think this one is probably the most comfortable I have ever owned, in large part because of the articulated rubber bracelet...which is freakin awesome!! ![]() |

Guess I'm not too technical in terms of that. Or maybe I have a high tolerance for pain and discomfort. ![]() |

The smaller the wrist, the greater potential for discomfort. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
