I know it's entirely subjective. I know it's my decision but throwing thoughts around helps me to make up my mind. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't, but as you said, it's entirely subjective.

Tricky one! When I saw the title I thought it'd be an easy decision, but then I saw the watches and it's not! While I'm not a fan of the black eye blue BB (much prefer the all black dial personally) the BB is something of a modern classic - and discontinued. The SF is also a modern classic - and discontinued. The YM isn't my favourite Rolie by some margin (but as you are considering it I assume it IS one of yours) but then it's got the in-house movement that the Breitling's lack....

Difficult decision. Glad it's not mine!

Sorry, true to form I've been no help whatsoever!

Neither would I but than I'm very biased towards Breitlings and as much as I've tried to like it, Rolex just does not do it for me as much as Breitling does. Maybe if it was the Daytona but than we are in a different ballpark.

That is a tough one, for the reasons D8 has already expressed.

I'm biased towards Rolex, but for this particular combination of models I'm just not sure. If you are anything less than ecstatic about the YM, you'll probably miss the other two at some point. But the deal's probably slightly in your favour, and if this is the YM that I think I recognise (reputable seller on TRF, right?) then on paper it's a reasonable deal. But if you're asking because you think you might end up missing the others, then perhaps think twice about the deal.

So I'm not much help either.

I suspect that my choice is obvious - no, but that's partly because I think that you can get a better deal.

I'll take the BEB bird for a good price.

I can't (and wouldn't if I could) give advice on this deal but I will say that I like that Rolex. The bezel looks great in my opinion. On the other hand, I've never been a fan of the magnifying glass on the date but even with that it's a good looking watch. Good luck with the decision.

I would not for many reasons already stated. The BEB is a real looker in my book and the SF is a great all around watch. I do like the white face of the Rolex, but that is about it. Rolex leaves me flat for the most part. IMO seems to be the watch to have to let others know you have money to blow, not that you actually are into watches. Ask 100 people what a high end watch is and I'd bet all will say Rolex. It is the Mercedes of watches and growing up in Detroit Mercedes was synonymous with "rich mans Buick" There are a couple I'd sell off or trade a Ling or two for the new 42 Explorer II (white only) a Milgauss or a root beer GMT, also the Datejust with blue numbers is darn cool...all the rest just scream old man to me. Well there is the Daytona, that is pretty slick too.

How about you keep the BEB and trade the SF for a white faced version? That would make a nice pair.

I'll say it - no man, that BEB BB is special and seems to suit you. As your legal counsel I advise you to keep the BB and work out a way to get the Yachtmaster. Know any stores with slippery floors?

Edit - And the Steelfish?!?

I have seen the YM up close and personal, on my wrist. Member Scott had one for some time, and he can chime in with his opinion. I personally think it's a REALLY "pretty" watch and a great weight as well, with the platinum. BUT... I wouldn't trade the BEB and the SF for it.
