No surprise that I am a Christopher Ward fan for a sub $1000 watch, having a C60 and C60 GMT. Here is a thread of upcoming models - no idea of pricing - but there are a couple here that tickle my fancy and if priced at or below $1000 to $1500-ish, worth the gamble for me. (If anyone hasn't noticed, it's been 5 months since I spent more than $2000 on watch and even longer since I sold one, unless you count the three way trade involving Chronomatic 44s...and I don't! I'm not suggesting it is easy, but it CAN be done. For five months anyway. Perhaps, just perhaps, sanity has returned)

In general I like them. The C900 display back is very nice.

I'm guessing this is your next one :P

I like some of these. I wish that the movements were better decorated on the display back models, although I get that would be difficult at the price point.

The more CWs I see, the more I think CW reminds me of Steinhart since all of their watches are inspired by already popular designs.

Thanks for link. Good to know some new designs from smaller/less expensive brands are showing up. I just looked at CW website recently along with Glycine to see if anything interests me.

A couple to sell and then may be dabbling more into these types, two of the CW (C10, C11) and the Glycine L1000 (3899) diver look to be candidates. The C11 reminds me a little of a B&R 02 diver.

In the Airman range was looking at the Base 22, the 3902 is a little busy for me with all the timezones. It's tough enough to read the 24 hr. dial :) . I was attracted by the 11.7mm thickness of the L1000 (3899) diver - don't usally see them that thin. Still investigating these.

Before this year's edition of what has now become the annual unbudgeted domestic financial calamity ("AUDFC", henceforth), I was thinking about a Glycine Purist 22 with the blue/black dial. Pretty piece, but for some reason in the metal (I only saw a white one) the mechanism just didn't feel right to me. Maybe it was just that example. The Incursore power reserve had a great feel but it is large. As you know Terry I'm now in reverse. After a final visit to the tile and stone store I'll know more about whether I'll need to contribute to the cause.

Some good looking watches there. The C60 diver is nice though I'm not crazy about the strap. The C10 pilot looks great and the C9 Portuguese copy appears quite nice.

The C900 is a beauty - I've only heard a bit about CW and these are some interesting models. The only one that Really catches my eye is that monopusher though.

Indeed. I like everything I hear about CW but their designs are very derivative.
