I was not a fan of this watch when it was announced but after seeing some real life photos of it on TZ I think it actually looks great!!

I like it, but....

I can't get past the slope on the bezel - it looks so severe.

Like the simple color theme,
LOVE the bezel,
not sure about the subdials being all different style
not sure about the date window eating into the 6H subdial.
Overall not bad, could get used to it ;-)

Completely agree, I can't tell if it's just an illusion or not but it does look steep.

I like everything about it. As for the sub dials, it carries over the features of the regular Type XXI - different depths and sizes. To me, that is one of the things that made the older dial so amazing to look at. As I recall the dial had six different depths - incredible detail. The date window I like too - it doesn't interrupt reading of the 6 hour sub at all. As for the sloping bezel, it is the same as the older Type XXI - just more noticeable with the black bezel versus the brushed SS.

This kicks the sh## out of the former XXI and, IMO, the XXII as well. My only criticism, it isn't SS.

I can live with the Ti, I just wish the bezel was also grey like the XXI bezel.

I really like that..... A LOT. I agree the bezel does look very steep, but I think that's quite a nice distinguishing feature that sets it apart from a million other movable-bezeled-watches. I'd prefer SS too, but as it's no doubt decent quality ti (Grade 5 I assume), it shouldn't be overly scratch-happy. Very nice indeed.

I've come back to this post now 3 times to look at the watch and I think the consensus is that I like it. The bezel is different but good and the dial looks very smart. I'd love to try one on.

Cheers. Not a bad size at all.

That bezel is worse than the Chronomat.

It is?? The font looks nicer, there's no baseball sized green pearl, and it's about half as thick. But if you say so then I'll believe ya.

I like it, but I think it's one of those you would need to see in person before you could decide properly.
