Post subject:  Franck Muller Question

Hello,

I own these watches and unfortunately I have no idea what edition they are. I bought them from a friend of mine who didn't have the box or anything else at all.

From what he told me these are suppoused to be extremely expensive (30k EUR or more) and a limited edition. Case is made out of gold.

Could someone perhaps give me an idea of what exactly do I own?

Here are photos I have taken:

I tried searching for it but came up with more replicas than authentic ones, and since I don't know enough about them to tell them apart, I'll leave it to someone who has a clue ;)

Still thanks for your effort.
I have tried to look on the internet and the only model that looks similair/same was Conquistador 8000CC.

I would agree it looks like an 8000 CC

Thanks,
but I am still not quite satisfied since either someone was not telling me the truth about their price being instead of 30k EUR just 21500USD or the website is lying. :?

Thanks anyways.

Either way, the only way to know for sure what you have is to take it into an Authorized Franck Muller dealer to have it looked at.

I have done that, but unfortunately there is only one dealer in Prague and they couldn't tell me anything really important.

They estimated the price of 25k USD, but they said it is just a guess, they also mentioned that these ones are pretty rare, but that's about it.

The only thing I can suggest is finding out the location of their primary service centre (on their website maybe?) and then asking them if you can send it in for them to have a look at.

Breitling are happy to undertake this for their watches, so I would assume that FM will have a similar policy.

A lot of Franck Muller watches are very limited production and rare... however, I think the estimate of $25K US is about right.. I was looking at the conquistador's and considering picking up a King Conquistador in steel... In Gold, these guys usually sell around $13-15K used... about the same price as a steel King Conquistador... my dilmena at the time was whether it was better to have a bigger watch in steel or a smaller watch in Gold.. the regular conquistador isn't a small watch though.
