For everyday wear as a tool= Rolex GMTII-C
For dress-up and total WOW factor= Breitling Cockpit two-tone
Can you love one more than the other?

Casio, Omega?
Or any other?
Personally I love Omega...

I like Omega far more than Breitling and about the same as Rolex. I also like Jaeger LeCoultre, IWC, Audemars Piguet, Glashutte Original, and Blancpain. Breitling is now my least favorite of the brands I've mentioned but they still make a great product.

Ive never liked Omega for some reason. Same with Omega. Im with you with just about everything else though. I still like Breitling, but with the exception of a few models theres not much im finding too appealing right now.

Aside from what everyone else likes, I also like Harry Winston pieces... especially the Opus series... some amazing original pieces they've been conceiving... been warming up to the Cartier pieces as well...

for a guy that can't afford them I have expensive tastes...

If youre warming up to Cartier, go to the boutique on Rodeo. Theyve got some insanely amazing pieces there. The people are friendly and they let us try on anything they had. I had a totally new respect for them after seeing some of the new lineup. Sure, most of them are 6 figures, but they are really impressive.

Well there's always a free kind of shopping and that's window shopping... Thanks for the heads up RJ!

I came here for Breitling, which I still like, a lot, though I'm really more interested in the 2-10 years ago releases. The double AR coating on the crystal is one of my favorite features, the bracelets are well-crafted, and on the resale market they can be a (relatively) good value. They can be too large and to blingy for me, but there are several great models.

I started with Rolex and will probably always own one. Right now its the Yachtmaster. Unfortunately the hype and status issues sometimes obscure how good and durable a watch Rolex makes. We sometimes get caught up in the concept of a "manufacture" or in-house movement when in fact that's what a Rolex has.

I like Omega, owned one years ago. For some reason though, every time lately that I seriously look at one, something stops me. Just not 'this' enough or 'that' enough, and the factors change each time I look. Wish I understood why, as they have always made a great watch and again, a decent (relatively) value.

Tag, um, no. I do admit, though, I do like some of the Monacos.

I want an IWC, but it's a little like Omega for me. I just can't seem to identify the right one for me, and oftentimes they seem overpriced.

I like Blancpain, a lot. I looked at a gold Villaret (40mm) my watch guy has and we asked ourselves, "Who needs a Patek?" One of the burning questions I ask myself from time to time is if I'll ever have the chance to own a 45mm Fifty Fathoms. I need one someday.

I wish I 'got' Patek, but for the money, I just don't. I really like the Nautilus, but not for that much. Same thing, essentially, with AP. I do like the Royal Oak, but so many other things I like better for same or less money.

I never understood what Breguet was until I owned one. After I learned a little more, I was almost a little self-conscious about it. Many of them leave me a little cold, like with Patek. Still, I loved the aviation models, and I really like the Marine.

Right now, I'm digging my little Luminox Navy Seals blackout that I wore on vacation. Enough for now.

I'm going out on a limb here saying I don't like all of what anyone makes. There are no manufacturers where I like all their pieces. In fact, there is no manufacturer I can say I like the majority of their collection. Like Scott said, there are lots of pieces/lines that I don't dislike, but they are always missing something that makes me warm to them.

So in short, I have respect for many lines, but I don't have many I like.

I've got a soft spot for what JFD's made out of Zenith, JLC and to a degree, Vacheron Constantin, I just like the companies and somehow they're the ones making the watches I want (and, like pretty much anyone else, a lot of stuff that doesn't hit the spot or is downright awful). I can also relate well to the who needs Patek argument in regard to Blancpain.

Aside from that I just need a Pam in my life and would never let go of my Navi, as I wrote earlier, Breitling might have experimented a bit unfortunately in recent times, which is absolutely to be disputed, but the core of it is still quite magnificent and if they could just get some silver stenciling on that 01 datewheel, a lot of what they make'd still be brilliant.

Not realy surprised, but the OP has come back and added an advert to his signature so removing that post but will avoid locking / deleting the thread as there is some value.

It's something that we have seen before - a bunch of posts / topics that tend to be very brief and often not well written and then they come back afterwards to edit the signature to add a link in the hope that will slip through vs. the people who just spam post with the link from the outset.
