Post subject:  Magrette update
For anyone who doesn't know they had there bronze watch checked out after a few other companies found out that their bronze watches were actually brass. Turns out the Magrette is brass as well.

Over all I am very happy that the company is going to replace all the cases, definitely a good move on their part.

Where were the "brass" cases made?

Probably are Chinese cases, but that's not unusual. Helson and Benarus got hit too, but Magrette seems to be getting the worst of it, Helson and Benarus used the same supplier and they did at least get bronze cases, just not the alloy that they paid for - Magrette seems to have really been stung with brass.
