Hi All,

Please follow the link below to read my introduction and review on the Montblanc Timewalker timepieces. See why you cannot judge the appearance of these watched by the generic press pictures.

As always, your comments and constructive critique are welcome.

Great Review! I own the Timewalker Chronograph with the silver dial like the one you are reviewing. I have been thinking of trading it but I might keep it. Montblanc doesnt get a lot of respect but they try to do a good job with what they offer. Also correct me if Im wrong but I thought it utilized the 7753 movement as the base?

Here is mine:

I've always liked the black dial Timewalker GMT.

Kustoms, you're right, they don't get a lot of respect, but I have a soft spot for them. Unfortunately, I don't know of a single AD around my area who carries them, so trying to see them up close and personal is a chore. Probably just as well - I'd no doubt be very tempted to pick one up.

Thanks, Ricardo, for the review.

If I remember correctly from looking into a MB for a buddy a few months back, the prices are considerably reasonable. I have always liked their dressier designs like the Time walker and Star models.

Thanks for your kind words about the review and the correction.

Interestingly if you google Montblanc 4810/502 movement, which is clearly shown on the case back, the links presented all state that this movement is based on the ETA 7750.

However, now I think about it the ETA 7753 is the ETA 7750 with the registers at 3, 6 and 9 O'clock, which is what the Timewalker chrono has.

I have now corrected my review. Well spotted indeed.

Thank you! You will also notice that this comes with 2 extra jewels which makes it 27 jewels as opposed to the 25 on the 7750.
