Is an omega seamaster chrono a good boating or yatching watch. I wanted to find a good watch for going on a boat. Is the omega seamaster a good boating watch.

I guess any watch with decent water resistance would be fine for a boat, in the off chance you fall in the water. Other than that, I think just about anything would work. If you race, maybe look into something with a regatta countdown feature, even though im sure people are using some type of digital timers these days.

If you race sailboats Tagheuer makes an Aquaracer Regatta Calibre S which is a very complex beautiful race watch. Image
