They did a very nice job with updating this watch! I really like how clean it is compared the previous version with the darker rings around the hours and seconds.

Hmm, I want to like this watch but can't warm to the 'asymmetric dial visuals'. Looks better in grey. Full marks for individuality and innovation but definitely not for me.

They might win "best new design" almost by default, but some of those new IWC designs, particularly Spitfire variants, were really nice. With Transoceans and other models here now banging up against the $10,000 mark, neither GO or nicer IWC seem unreasonable, relatively speaking.

I like, I think the dark grey / black one is just stunning , and very wearable w/ its 40mm

That is very nice indeed.

I agree that Breitling's new pricing strategy is absurd. They're beginning to compete in price categories they simply don't belong in. Paying $8k for my B01 pieces was pretty much the breaking point for me. At $10k territory for some of the new releases (some which don't have in-house movements), I'll definitely start looking at other higher end manufacturers for my next acquisition.

I love the PanoMatic line, the XL, the Lunar nearly the whole line. All in all an easily identifiable, very accurate execution of the golden ratio I use in my designs for my clients, so a principle I love. Just a beautiful style. We'll see how they update them in the near future based on sales though. Makes me want to say, with no in-house 1461, and no Blackbird worth 2 bits, I might have to go for the GO I have long been lusting after instead of a Grand Seiko or a new Ling.

What a winner! GO has always appealed to me almost across their entire line and with these newly designed PML's, they just improved an already winning piece IMO. I've lusted for a PML XL for some time, but they just don't come available often in the pre-loved market unfortunately. Maybe one of these days one will find it's way into the box, but for now I'll have to settle on drooling over the photos  .

Agreed. I need the entire dial to be used. It seems as if there is a lot of wasted space.

Yeah that's a nice watch Sergio. Just classic.
