This brand was not on my radar, but flipping through iW mag. it caught my eye. I like the thicker case, has that retro/vintage look from the 60s/70s, no? Any love for this brand from the Breitling crowd?

I see hints of the Transocean and other watches from that era in the look of the Glycine. What you think?

I like this one, or the normal airman, as well

The first watch I bought for myself after graduating flight school in 1968 was an Airman.
Purchased it my first week in Germany....Great little watch :D

Ha, nice. A quick poke around on ebay prior to my posting turned this up. I thought it was petty cool too. Lately I am intrigued by GMT and 24 hour dials. I am keeping an eye on it...but have no idea of its worth.

I had an Airman 18 for a while and it was a pretty neat watch. The quality seemed pretty good and from what I recall it kept pretty good time. I bought it as a purist model (24 hour) but just couldn't get used to it, probably because I was rotating between several watches at the time. During a trade return it was dropped or something and the hands got out of sync so I sent it back to Glycine to get fixed under warranty and had them convert it over to 12 hour format. Customer service was quite good.

I had a Glycine Lagunare and loved it. It looked great and was well made.
