Thanks for posting. Some interesting looking things in there, although I was hoping for a sneaky peek at some of the other breitling offerings (assuming they will have more of course!) other than the B04 GMT 44mm.

Agreed. I liked a lot of the pieces though. The Antoine Preziuso, Bulgari, De Buthune, Haldimann, Louis Moinet and Ball pieces, amongst others, looked very cool.

As a lover of weird watches it's no surprise that there are a lot of pieces here that appeal - especially near the front (although the Lacroix Masterpiece is almost affordable and looks superb. However, I have to say that I really don't see the point of the Beat Haldimann - a tourbillon watch with an opaque crystal covering it :huh

Definitely much to look forward to. Any of you guys gonna be there? I think I might go on Saturday, March 10th. So if you're interested in catching a drink or something, just drop me a line per PM

When I see a list like that, I am always surprised, how many watchbrands exist, which I have never ever heard of before...

Thanks for the list.

Indeed, but that's still harmless compared to the list of exhibitioners in Basel... There is one Hall with the brands one knows, one with brands one could know with a lot of effort and about four complete halls with stuff one could never ever have heard about...

My thought as well. Makes me feel like I've only just dipped my toe in the horological sea.

Do I understand correctly that the Hadimann H9 Reduction has an opaque glass that can't be seen through, allowing the owner to imagine/dream of the actual time? :idontgetit:

the H8 has a central tourbillon, but no hands to tell the time, enough that it could. The H9 takes it one step further and lets you imagine the tourbillon too. Crazy, but I like it. Do not have the neccessary funds, though.

That H9 strikes me as the Emperor's new clothes. I think I have a new candidate for the "never ever would I" thread.

:yeahthat

I could "IMAGINE/DREAM" what time it is without spending one thin dime on something as crazy as this piece seems to be....guess I am in the same category with a few others here..... :idontgetit: Excuse me, but I thought the idea of wearing a watch was to be able to tell what time it was....am I missing something here? :huh
