Out of all the SIHH 2012 release, including the new Panerais, this is by far my favorite watch! http://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/watch- ... .1220ST.01 BAM! Home run! Just a perfect, careful upgrade to a timeless classic with just a bit more visual interest with the new contrasty dial and broader case finishing and with a well thought out size increase from 39 to 41mm. I tried on the 39 and thought it was a tiny bit too small for me, and wished that it was 41-42mm. The Royal Oak design wears much larger, so I suspect the new version to wear like a 43mm. I love the grayish black dial that fits the brushed case perfectly, but I am hoping for their brilliant blue dial to be available in this model, their shade of blue is mesmerizing! As far as I am concerned this model is as good as in the watch box, but the question is when? I hope they do not take as long as Panerai to deliver their novelties, next SIHH has come and gone and I just received two out of three of the watches I ordered last year, and I am pretty sure I am one of the first to get both (I have low numbers) /rant The website states that an RG model will be available, if it comes with their ivory dial I might be in for two of these. |

And the included a dark date wheel which has always been a distractor of sorts on such a high end watch. Looks pretty slick |

I'm a fan of the Royal Oak, but the Off Shore line is more my cup of tea. More of a sport guy. I'm glad they made minor changes to fit with the times. Companies tend to be in the habit of ruining a classic. Glad they avoided it here. |

i saw this the other day over at TZ and was thinking how awesome this is. The ROO is a bit too big for me but the ROC at 41mm might be the perfect fit! |
