I know its only one shot, but does this look real to you guys. Seller is asking 1350 (US)

It looks okay, although I haven't heard much about these Speedies being copied much. The big chrono hand design has a diamond tip with lume near the end though, therefore it might be wrong or a replacement. If it's an 861 movement they should technically go for a bit more than $1350, so if it's too good to be true Novacastrian, then you know the rest. :|

Ask for some more detailed shots. If he has nothing to hide then he'll provide them with no problem.

Tough to tell but the bracelet looks to be in really rough shape.

if its the 3570.50.00 moon watch the price is very low, would love a peak at the caseback! sub dial are reversed at 3 & 9 from this piece???? I'm now way an expert on speedmasters but everything ive seen the 30 minute sub dial is at 3 and the running 60 second sub dial is at 9! again no expert and would like to hear from someone who knows the Speedy more than i do but at this point would be a little nervous with the low price and dial setup and second hand!

Yeah,
I've been doing some research since i posted. It's not the moon watch but the Speedmaster "reduced"; the 39mm 3510.50. From my research and communication with the seller, i think it's real but not a very sought after Speedy. $1350 is top dollar, esp in this condition.

Another watch I've come across and am not sure about is this one; well to be honest I'm pretty suspicious. The seller claims to have all boxes and papers. Are you Rolex guys able to confirm this one is fake? Also in this condition, how much cash (US) would you part with (assuming it's real)?

What serial range is it supposed to be? The "m" in meters should be italicized and does not appear to be that way. Much better photos with all papers would be required before I would even consider it.

EDIT - Also, case back is all wrong.

HI Novacastrian
I would run this past some people on the rolex forum
I have owned 2 of these over the years and what I see from your (but might still be correct ! , I dont know enough about them to be 100% sure)

the crownguards look incorrect , you cant see through the guards and the crown
and are there no numbers on the bracelet ?
should there be 16600 on these casebacks ?

I'm pretty sure the "16600" on the caseback is a sticker. If you want a 16600, check out the Z series model for sale in the sale section on here from a trusted seller.

Yep. A couple of things strike me as not right. The lume looks "bulbous" instead of flat. The bevelling on the bezel looks rough. The numbers don't seem centred on the bezel or the date wheel and the crown seems indistinct. I'm gonna pass. Thanks for your help, guys. I actually posted a request on the Rolex forum on TZ and they deleted it. It made me reflect that BS is a pretty rare forum indeed.

Now that I've had a second look, the end links and the first link don't have any kind of serial markings either. Plus, even if that 16600 was a sticker on the caseback, most if not all of the stickers on casebacks of Rolexs are green.
