Sorry for the double post, tried over in Ladies this morning but seems like not many visitors. Since the original post I now also have the SOH 38 on my list. Never any lack of opinions around here so figure you all are afraid to click on the ladies section :P

My wife and I are planning a get away long weekend of 4-5 days for sun and surf. I'd like to surprise her with a more sporty watch. She is a big fan of "larger" watches so I don't see any of the ladies specific Breitlings fitting the bill. I am open to suggestions but my first choice would be that the watch has to be able to be put on a blue ocean racer. I'm currently leaning toward a Colt GMT. I'd guess any colt would do, but I just sort of dig the GMT complication. Probably looking to buy used just due to recent Christmas purchases, taxes for my business due soon and the trip prompting the watch purchase.

I think the white face colts are a bit more feminine, but her Cartier Roadster is white so some variety would be nice. What do you all think of a blue Colt on a woman's wrist?

The more I look at the new Colt 33/44 online the more I like it. I'd rather and auto over a quartz, but not a deal breaker for this.

My first choice is a Breitling, but guess I am open to suggestions on that too. So what else should I put on my list?

See my response in your Ladies section post.

Here is a blue Omega Seamaster that just popped up on TZ:

Lugs are 20 mm I believe (OR should fit).

I have always like the entire seamaster line. A Planet Ocean is on my current short list for next watch. Interesting take on puttin the OR strap on a non-Breitling watch. It never even crossed my mind  NICE!

My wife alway comments on how much she likes my Steelfish. For now I think I am still leaning toward a Colt GMT, but a blue omega on blue rubber would be a pretty nice vacation watch.

The SOII comes in a few colors she might like.

I must think like a woman because I was gonna say Steelfish or the old SO. The 42mm PO would be great also, it's still large but pretty flat, at least my PO XL is.

PO 42 for her and PO 45.5 for me. I am all up for that, but fear it would break the budget. Bought her a Cartier for x-mas and trying to keep this in the realm of "reasonable" whatever that is. I think I need a yellow or orange SO or SOP. I'm really digging the Colt 44 for her blue on blue OR strap. Hopefully they show up before the trip. I think a steelfish would be a tad manly for her...plus I have one.
