Can anyone place this watch? I know Tiger is a Tag guy but I can't place it...The pictures can be found at the link below in the "Tophy Presentation" section. It looks bigger than any Tag's I can find on their website.

Maybe The Tiger just has small wrists! (Unlikely given his choice of sport!)

You're welcome. But not great eyes

I didn't recognise it myself so took a look at the Tag site where there's a picture of Tiger with a caption naming the watch :D

What has caught my eye is their SLR Calibre S which looks a real bad boy watch 8)

Ah.. nice. It looked like an SLR to me at first because of the case shape... That's actually a pretty cool watch.. I really like the Caliber S watches, but they are Quartz !! I didn't realize that until i saw one in person.

Called in at the Tag AD after work today to have a look at the Calibre S in the flesh.

I too was surprised it was all quartz. The impression I had was it was a mechanical watch with a quartz chrono.

Still a very interesting movement and the SLR does look cool but I'm not keen on a large quartz seconds hand. That's the one thing I don't like about my B-1.

Tiger is a Tag ad man so I'm sure he can take his pick of Tag pieces!

:)

That would be rough.

Tags just don't "yank my chain" in any way at all I'm afraid.

I've owned 2 Tags myself - a quartz Aquaracer (that was basically just a poor man's Seamaster) and an automatic Aquagraph which wasn't a bad watch apart from the fact that it gained like a b*stard and wasn't the most attractive piece in he world.

The Link Calibre 36 is the only one I'd even consider these days.... and Tiger doesn't wear it! He may be legend at golf, but someone needs to give him a hand in the watch department!

My wife loves the Monaco. The only Tag I would consider owning is the Carrera.

I've got a 2000 Automatic (now called Aquaracer Automatic), but I never wear it. Just can't say I love it, you know? I should probably sell it.

I would buy an older Heuer Monaco or one of the new repros they are doing, like the Gulf McQueen Monaco. Those are snappy.

Outside that, it's tough to find a TAG that I like a whole lot anymore.
