How much would your insurance rise(if any) if something were to happen to your watch?

Didn't know if anyone out there had something happen to their watch where they had to use their insurance to buy a new one and could share what happened to their rates??????

Thanks.

I know this, make sure it's a different insurer from whom your household insurance is with. If you make a claim it will show under all your policies with the insurer. I have Jewelers Mutual now and my AD gives my updated appraisals directly to them. I will never do an all inclusive policy with one insurer again. Maybe it's different in other states but in GA if you make a claim the insurer marks all the policies. I now can't switch my household because it shows a claim from a 3k watch that got lost and we claimed. That watch was worth less what I was paying them a year for jewelry insurance. I was mad and wanted to change everything away from them. However, now I can't because my household has a claim - even though it was a separate policy for jewelry - no one will insure in GA for a proper rate, with a claim within 3 years.

I also have never had my rates go up because of a claim. I've had a few in the last decade.

Hahaha nah... Not a bad idea though

Just playing... No I was just curious, I was having a discussion with a colleague of mine bout this topic and since I have never made a claim before I couldn't provide an accurate answer.

Serg, but if I did throw it off a bridge it probably would be the Ben Frank since I use it often
