I came across a GP with only two pictures so I wanted to ask you guys if you know anything about the authenticity of it. The dial looks cheap and that's what's throwing me off, as well as the simple movement, BUT heres a quick description::

White dial with the name printed right along the middle - "Girard-" to the left of the center of the hands and then "Perregaux" to the right. There is a sweep seconds hand. The Ferrari logo is at 6 o'clock. There seems to be a second timezone as another subdial numbered 1-12 at 12 o'clock and then between 4 and 5, and between 7 and 8 there are two semi circular subdials marked from 0-30 and 30-60. Of what I can see of the case back picture, there is a clear case back with "Stainless", "Steel," and "5 atm" running around the crystal on the actual metal. The only marking that i can see through the crystal is "Ferrari" and their logo printed on the rotor.

Sounds like its a fake, but I just wanted to confirm with you guys before I lose an opportunity to restore a GP!

Thanks,
Crasian1030

As Sharkman says a picture will help. There is a relationship between GP and Ferrari so could be real.
