Just had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with, what is now, my favourite BR01 model. Especially for the £3300 retail price. This is a great watch which can be worn in any given situation.

As always your thoughts and comments on the watch and review are appreciated.

Great look with that polished piano black ceramic and the applied indices, and I actually like the lack of a date window on that one as it makes it a lot cleaner..... BUT, the BR-01 is just way too big IMO. (And with my standard B&R comments : make an in-house movement and make a godamn deployant clasp, and they'll be a real force to reckoned with).

They've 'formalized' the markers (raised) and hands on this model, not a bad look at all.

The 01 is definitely too large for me. Owned a 03 for a time but the carbon coating did not hold up well.

I wonder if B&R has specified any type of 'drop test' on the ceramic models, tested to case failure (ceramic cracking, etc.)? This one has a nice looking finish on it.

Thanks for review.
