So my parents came across a Rolex that belonged to my Granddad. My dad's content with his Seiko, so I get it ![]() Apologies for the quality: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm39 ... lus028.jpg http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm39 ... lus030.jpg It's gold plated, with a lot of the SS showing. Also, I think Granddad got it in the 50's, although it could have been earlier, I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Nice! If the band is original it should say the month and year as eg. " 4 60" in the clasp. You might have to look with a magnifying glass. Bests |

Thanks A4B7, The band says 585, but it might not be original. Today I talked to my dad about it again, and he said he thinks it was bought in 61. ![]() ![]() I recognize this is a silly question, but what's the name for this model, just oyster perpetual? |
