Hey guys, this one is for you Canadians out there. Which company do you usually use, that insures your goods, to ship from Canada to the US. What are the fees to ship a watch like that usually? Thanks for the feedback. |

Under $1,500 or so I have no problem using the post office X-press insured. ($40-$50 range - $1,000 max. insurance) Over that I use Fedex next day, but the most I could insure for was a grand so there was some risk, even though quite a small one. (The value was a big risk, but Fedex rarely loses something) The best way for a higher priced watch is to probably get 3rd party coverage and make up a little of the cost by not having to be in a rush to get it there. It cost me about $140 to send Fedex guaranteed by 10am the next morning. There's definitely no easy way, just about making the best choice for your situation. |
