I'm sure this is old news to some on the forum but I only stumbled across it today and I can't find any reference to it on here using the search function.

The world's most complicated wrist watch - the Franck Muller Aeternitas Mega 4. A snip at a mere $2.7m

What does this have that the much more affordable Vacheron and Constantin Tour de L'ile does not?

Much more affordable is a relative term, Tour de L'Ile is still $1.5 million, and the most obvious difference is the absence of a chronograph.

These supper complicated pieces are very cool, but they must be a nightmare to live with - so many parts in the movement is bound to cause frequent maintenance issues. That said, I am sure that they are all just investment based safe queens anyway.

Hi Guys,

Not sure on the number of complications of the FM, but I was wondering if the Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon would rate? Model #5002 is the one I am thinking of. :|

It has 33 complications and needs two faces to display all its goodies. Only US$1,293,800.00 too.

Good value really!

Regards

Jim

I was thinking of that one too at first... personally I think the PP is more choice...

I think that these days you have to pay a lot more than that for the PP - resale only now I believe.
