Hay guys.

Had a awesome day at the SalonQP event in London yesterday! It was amazing. Sadly no breitling and omega but it had some very extreme and low production manufacturers. A horological dream! Got to try on some stunners!

Did anyone else go?

Wow, those are some amazing pieces. Did they let you play with them or just try them on?

What is the one with the accordian like thing going on? What did you think of the Tag, does it last only two minutes?

:yeahthat I'd be interested to know what that one is too. Never seen it before, but the design and contrasting metals look fantastic.

But every single one of those are suberb (except perhaps that Tag! :poke: ).

Ah nice one roff! Yeah I met the chief designer, proper mad and passionate. Truly what a brand like that needs!

Just googled it.... $1.2m... (£750k) errrrrrr.... I don't think I would of tried it if I knew it was that much!!!

Yeah I just Googled it too. No wonder I hadn't come across it before : slightly above my payscale, and I must be honest but these mega-expensive pieces only have a very limited appeal for me. They're great to see what goes into them from a horological perspective, but once you see the price they become entirely pointless IMO.

I agree. It just gets to the point where its silly. Also, i cant think of any situation where i would say "ah yes, this sutis the occasion"
