I haven't heard anything from my AD regarding the request for a Panerai Bronzo....if their contact could get one. No sure, financially I am still in the market but I know a few of you are waiting for yours. Anyone heard anything about getting yours??

Just curious

A few of the members of Paneristi.com have recieved their's.

Did you definitely get an allocation for one? These are a Limited Edition and, from what I was told at an ADs, they sold out almost immediately after SIHH.

I just had a look on Paneristi for a few real world pictures of the Bronzo, and I must be honest but the patina it attains in literally a couple of days is hideous. The clean bronze looks great, but the patchy darkening I saw on one on Paneristi looks bloody awful IMO. Plus the green dial didn't look up to much either outside of the professional Paneri photos. Not a fan at all.

I still haven't heard, although I'm not really expecting to either. I have a couple of possible angles on one and am still 100% committed if I can get one, but expecting to have to get one from the secondary market in a year or so when the premiums have died down a bit.

I dont think there is much chance I would get the phone call. 1) because I was going through my Breitling AD, who was going through a local Panerai AD and 2) because of the "shortage" of them.

If I do get the call, I am not really prepared to buy it, but concidered layaway if my AD would allow it. I had thought about thinning down the watches I have to come up with the money but dang it if every time I bring out another one of the safe queens.... I like them all over again!

Driver, I have seen the change in the patina that your talking about and honestly, that is one of the things I actually liked about it. New watch with an antique look.I was just curious because I knew that Roff and Altair were wanting one also.

Oh well, maybe when the economy straightens itself around I can finally use this new management degree and have something beside a new student loan to show for it!

lol, you and I are on the same wavelength! I had already told myself to let you know if I don't or can't buy it. But the likelyhood of me getting one seems extra slim at this point.

Thank you sir!

I figure that if I have 3 long shot options then I can convince myself that there is hope :?

I emailed Panerai boutique when a "bronze" Panerai was still a rumour (before official announcement of the Bronzo at SIHH), and I'm NOT at all confident I will be allocated one. To say interest in this watch has been intense is probably understatement of the year.
