I think I can recommend a good psychiatrist who
might help you -- he is also a watch fanatic -- and drives
a dirty car!!

I realized this morning on my way to work that my car was extrememly dirty and in need of a bath... no problem, I can take care of that this afternoon... 3 minutes later I saw a finger print on the crystal and about had a panic attack. No kidding, I came close to driving off the road while using my shirt to try to wipe it off. Who does this? Am I the only one OCD enough about her watch to freak out over a smudge while my car sits covered in dust and pollen?! |

no that sounds perfectly normal to me.....but then again most of my friends do doubt my sanity in relation to my obsession with watches ....and cars....and home theatre kit...and.. |

there is nothing wrong with you at all yes you have OCD but who does not hahahah  get this i wont wear a jacket with my watches , in case it rubs. i prefer to go cold ...

Relax, you're not the only one and it's not limited to watches. My wife thinks I'm so OCD about my cars that it's beyond psychiatric reach.  But we're still married

If you were using your shirt to clean the windshield I think I would have almost driven off the road also.

Not crazy at all! Glad to see there are more of us out there. Usually during the typical 'scratches add character, wait to get them polished until the 5 year service' threads I always chime in with agreement to hide my OCD. In actuality I can't stand even the lightest of finger print showing anywhere without incessantly wiping it off! |

I guess I was tired - I thought you were cleaning your windshield with your shirt after noticing it was dirty. |
