I voted for white...which is the one that I have. I decided on the white for the following reasons:

1. All of my other watches have a black dial.
2. I think the white dial looks better with the metal bracelet than the black dial does.
3. The white dial with black accents is more neutral than the black with the yellow accents, and would be able to be worn with more clothing options than the black one.
4. It is hard to find a nice dive watch with a white dial...I think IWC did a great job with this one. Black dial dive watches are easy to find.

Both are great options...good luck with the decision!!

Thank you very much for your input! If you have any wrist-shots by any chance, I'd love to see them. Thanks again.

I voted white since it's what I have as well. I didn't care for the yellow accents on the black dial.

White for me, I think that it looks spectacular, although that photo does nothing for it.

The question is which one I like. For that, I voted black. I have been trying to convince myself that this could be a slightly poorer man's version of a Fifty Fathoms, but the yellow makes it pretty much a sport-only watch, I think. Also, I already have a silver/white dial watch.

I agree, though, with everybody who says the rest of your watches are black dial, try a white one.

I voted black, because I prefer black dials in general. I do think the white dial looks nice, however, and the yellow accents on the black do make it less neutral, as others have pointed out. Still, if faced with the choice, I'd choose black, on bracelet.

I believe it. I'm still trying to figure out why nearly all watch manufacturers produce utterly sterile, lifeless pictures of their watches (some are more guilty of this than others). I'm always struck by how much better most watches look in person than in their official photos. Many amateur "in the steel" photos do a better job of capturing the look and personality of a given watch.

I voted white as well. So unique considering there are so few true white dials out there. I find my white dial AT is a great weekend companion while my black dials hang out on weekdays

Thanks, Justin. I really like the Aquatimer. It delivers a real bang for the buck - outstanding lume, a sapphire bezel, a bracelet quick-change system, and more WR than anyone could ever possibly need - all for well under the price of a Submariner-C, to say nothing of a Fifty Fathoms, and even the new-generation Planet Oceans. Granted, it doesn't have an in-house movement, but that doesn't bother me. I've been under the impression that at 44mm diameter and 14mm thickness, it would be too big and/or chunky for my wrist. (Unfortunately, I haven't seen one in person yet.) But then again, based solely on the numbers, it would appear to have a less chunky profile than either the old or new Planet Ocean (42mm/14mm or 42mm/15.5mm), as well as a number of Breitlings. Perhaps I need to see if the lone IWC dealer in my state has one so I can check it out. I always felt if it were offered in smaller size, it would rival the Sub-C for my affections.

I think most of them are renderings and I don't get it either.

For reference, here are some side by side pics of the AT with my Milgauss and Colt GMT. I got mine without ever trying it on, but I don't regret getting it at all. Right now it's with IWC since it was running too fast.

While I do like the white, I still voted black as I'm something of a traditionalist when it comes to dive watches. The black and yellow just works a treat for that watch IMO.

Personally, I prefer the black - pics do it very little IMO. However, I admit I am only a little biased as I have the black ATC on rubber. I absolutely love it and actually wear it much more often than I had first anticipated (eg. in a suit, etc). However, that said, I may "upgrade" to the Deep Two if I can find one at a bargain, relatively speaking.

Ps. Also love the rose gold edition (just not the price...)
