I had my PO sized yesterday and it fits a little loose. At first I liked it like that, but now I'm thinknig I might want it a little tighter. Right now if I have my wrist perpendicular to the ground, it will slide down my wrist about one watch. So in other words the amount of distance it slides would be within the range if I were wearing 2 watches. Is that pretty normal? I'm just curious how everyone else likes to wear their watches. |

It is personal choice really, I wear mine relatively tight as I don't like it to wear like a womans bracelet. But whatever you feel is comfortable if I wear a watch too loosely I find the Crown digs into the back of my hand. |

I like it fairly tight. Any flip/flop annoys the crap out of me. |

I prefer the garrote approach. ![]() |

If the half link is in, take it out. If not, have them replace a whole link with the half link. |

I didn't even realize their was a half link, but not that you said that I see it's the one closest to the clasp. I think another whole link would make it too tight, but that half link out might be just perfect. Thanks! |

I wear mine a little loose but not that loose. You'll find a lot of opinions on that here, and several of us chimed in on this topic on another thread. What it showed was "Make yourself comfortable--the way the watch should be worn is the way you feel comfortable with it." |

Tight enough not to flop about, loose enough not to leave a mark when i take it off or make my arm look like a sausage being squeezed. Same rule applies to underpants. |

It's a personal choice of comfort actually. I wear mine loose enough as not to leave any marks when the watch is taken off or feel the watch is "sticking" during the day. It also depends on the climate and the type of strap. You can't wear a croco or leather strap too tight in a warm climate, for example. IMO, the quality of Breitling straps is such that you shouldn't "feel" the watch when you wear it, despite the weight of some models. |

Mine are all sized to just tight enough so that it WONT drop down on my wrist when I put my arm down. I hate a watch laying on my wrist bone or the start of my hand. I wil lhave to say that the OR strap has really spoiled me. I wear this strap almost every day and being able to do micro adjustments on the fly is the greatest thing Breitling ever came up with. Now if they would just do the same to ALL of there clasps. |

Too tight and it hurts, too loose and it irritates me BEYOND WORDS! Confession time - a few years ago I had a quartz SMP with the Speedmaster style bracelet, and as most of you know, most Omegas lack any micro-adjustment on the clasp : you get a half link and that's it. Bizarrely the Bond/Seamaster bracelet can fit me perfectly - I had an auto SMP that fitted brilliantly - but the Speedmaster style bracelet just couldn't be adjusted exactly right : it was either too loose or too tight. Deciding on the lesser of two evils, I went with the too loose option, but it bugged the s*** out of me the entire time I owned it. One day when it had been flapping about my wrist particularly annoyingly, I just snapped and literally ripped it off my wrist and hurled it across the bedroom onto the bed, whereby it bounced off the bed and took a chunk out of the wall! Amazingly the watch was completely undamaged, but I still can't believe it irritated me to the extent that I'd lob a £1000 (as it was) watch 10 feet across the room with enough force that it would bounce hard enough to damage a plasterboard wall! Nowadays I only buy watches on bracelets that have a micro-adjustment facility unless I'm able to try it properly sized first. A poorly fitting bracelet annoys me so much that I just flat out refuse to take the gamble any more. (Straps are usually OK as they have a bit of give in them). |
