Post subject:  Got my Omega PO Chrono today.

Well I threw my back yesterday and have been in excruciating pain, I crawled my way to the doctors today, took them four hours to pump me with enough drugs to unclench my jaw off the doctors arm. At first I thought I was hallucinating from all the pain killers but it was in fact the fed ex man with a package all the way from the good old US of A when i got back home. My first watch bought from a non AD, and EXTREMELY happy with this purchase. Watchmaxx run a great operation. Intact serials, great packaging, good prices, very fast delivery. Three days half way across the world, three year warranty, the works.

Here are some pics of the unboxing:

Perfect fit on my wrist, great size and dimensions over all, that rubber strap is VERY comfy.

I also wanted a spring tool, this set was on special so I just got it. Great quality looks like.

Packaged could not have arrived at a better time, really cheered up my otherwise painful day. Doctored ordered three days of rest so starting things off enjoying a nice fat Cuban (cigar that is) and watching Charlie Wilsons War on blue ray.

Very nice Altair - as you say perfect timing for you, hope you're feeling better soon.

Enjoy it but don't strain your shoulder when you keep looking at your wrist!

Quick question for you - where did you get the tools, nice neat kit there.

Quick question to doctor diesel - what are those pills?

i know doctor diesel is gonna kill me for that :D but these are muscle relaxants to ease muscle pain mainly in cases of strain and/or sprains

Nice watch kit, January 7, 2007

Great kit for working with watches. The tools were quite good quality, and not flimsy and cheap. The case was also good, and thankfully wasn't just the typical throw away plastic crap. The inside of the case is firm foam that keeps the tools nicely in place. The case itself is firm black leather-like material and snaps closed. The kit contains a hammer, band holding base, and several different sized pin drivers for removing band pins. Also includes the clamp type pin remover (the blue thing), a set of screwdrivers and a thin but sturdy wedge for removing watch backs. All in all I'm quite pleased with the product. It was just what I wanted and wasn't very expensive.

Great for working on watches. Much better than the cheapo kit I got off Ebay. Nice, neat case.

Thanks.

Yeah this is in my opinion THE PO combination, the orange bezel is way too gauche and the all black and white is so ho-hum, no uniqueness whatsoever.

The watch is a little tank, adds great diversity to any collection, has the best lume, very well made and reasonably priced. The non chrono is a steal by all accounts. Highly recommended.

Correct, methocarbamol (or Robaxin) as it is known in the uk is a supposed non-sedating muscle relaxant, great for acute strains and sprains

dose I prescribe it at is 1.5gms 4x day (tabs are 750mg in uk) and it doesn't interact with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs which tend to be prescribed in tandem with it (I prefer diclofenac 50mg 3x a day with it)

back on topic......NICE watch.....health to wear it my friend!
