Hi all, Well having sold off my Pam 111 M series as it was just sitting in its box as i just didn't feel it was the right watch for me i have been hunting for a new watch i nearly bought a Wyler Tantalum/Titanium/Carbon Fibre but thought better of it at the last minute and is not something i regret i was also looking at a couple of Linde Werdelin's but could only find examples from the US and having to pay 20% on import to the UK government made them less attractive and viable. So then i started looking at IWC Aqautimers both old and new style and in SS and Ti but at the end of the day even though they are IWC's they are still running ETA modified movements and dive watches. As my UTS 1000M already has all of that covered and for me does it well that seemed like they would make a poor addition to my collection and then i came across the Ingenieur line with its different sizes and build materials i didn't like the Ti AMG versions as they cut off the 10 and the dial just doesn't sing to me i also didn't particularly like the latest and largest versions with the addition of crown guards and then i saw the Ceramic it is the perfect size for me and its looks and style just spoke to me i was hooked. I liked the fact it has some unique features that come with the in house IWC movement and the Ceramic bezel just sets the dial off beautifully IMO. I have been incredibly lucky in that i managed to find a 2009 watch with all boxes and papers on a stainless steel bracelet and with a brand new unworn carbon fibre strap included. So i managed to buy this yesterday and it arrived this morning and all i can say is it has exceeded my expectations it has beautiful build quality of both the watch case dial and bracelet it sits on the wrist and is ultra comfortable and IMHO looks stunning so here are the customary unboxing and some pictures of it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Marc |

64 views and not a single comment? the nerve of some people...lol. its a very interesting piece. i like the Ingenieur line but im undecided on the ceramic bezel on this one. i guess its more scratch resistant and shows less wear and tear so thats always a good thing. congrats on the piece and enjoy it. |
