Always wanted to know...is there any reason other than being aesthetically different why some watches have the winder or pushers on the left side of the case ?
I suppose some with large guarded winders would be uncomfortable on the left wrist if the winder and exaggerated guard were on the right hand side, but other than that I cant think of a technical reason. Is it just a style thing or something more ?

Original Breitling chrono-matic had the crown on the left because there wasn't room on the right due to the micro rotor. Now it's more cosmetic / more convenient for right wrist wearers.
