I own a Breitling Bentley 6.75 in mint condition. (just returned from BUSA with full service and polish). I have owned the watch for a few years and while I think it looks awesome, my tastes are changing a bit and now might be the best time to sell it. Other watches I am interested in are: Omega Ploprof Vintage Rolex 1680 or 1675 Rolex Daytona Rolex Datejust II (41mm) Anyway, I have an opportunity to pick up a ploprof at a good price, but would probably go ahead and sell the B4B to help finance it. Any thoughts? |

I'd take the Ploprof in a heartbeat..... But then the Ploprof is one of my all time favourite watches. |

Thanks Driver....I know you like it (even had/have one on hold for a while). I think the Ploprof is a far superior watch with the in-house movement. The B4B serves as my "night on the town" watch becasue its flashy and get attention. Im getting a little older and don't require as much attention any more ![]() ![]() |

I voted no because it seems you have a Deepsea already in your collection based on your sig... Of course two different watches but nevertheless I would say no need for another diver that's capable of enormous depth... The ploprof is a polarizing design nevertheless and I wouldn't fancying one myself but now if you're talking a vintage 1680 or 1675 then maybe it might be a different story... personally I fancy the 5513s ![]() |

I wouldnt just because I think the Ploprof is one of the uglier watches that are available. Value-wise, ive got no idea. Jlee has a good point as well. Youve got a nicely rounded collection as-is. |

I agree with RJ, I think the Ploprof is one of the ugliest, if not THE, ugliest watch every produced. I don't care about it's history or functionality, it's a putrid looking hideous pile of crap IMO of course. |

I don't post much & when I saw this thread, I just kinda shook my head & moved on. Opinions are like a**holes, everybody's got one one, and I was going to keep mine to myself. But it is ugly...to me. Regardless, if the poster likes it, then go for it, I have to wonder though, when you decide to sell it one day, I gotta wonder how that'll go. |

I wouldn't do it. If you're looking for a change though, what about IWC? |

I'd rather wear a digital calculator watch than a proroff. Don't do it OP the B4B is a zillion times nicer. |

Gotta agree with RJx3 and Serge on this one. The Ploprof is one of the ugliest watches I have seen. If you are thinking about moving your B4B for a diver...there are tons of options out there. |

Yes, and I don't even particularly like the Ploprof. Even better would be the vintage 1680 or 1675 mentioned in your first post. |

Bear it mind that, as stated above, you have a deep sea. Good luck in chooseing! |

What a polarising watch! Personally i love the Ploprof and hate all the Bentleys. I'd go the switch in a heartbeat. |
