I like it. Is it an Aqua Terra?

Looks nice, but I prefer it on the bracelet

It's an Aqua Terra chronograph, which is the "George Clooney" watch, as evidenced on Omega's home page (his is two tone with grey dial, fwiw). I was just looking at the standard Aqua Terra watches a week ago. In pictures they look great, and are good in theory: 8500 movement, DB, white gold markers, screws in bracelet as opposed to pins, decent price tag. In person, though, I thought it lacked that certain something - it was just a little on the plain side for my taste, which wasn't helped by the fact the model I was looking at had a grey dial, and is unavailable in black. The SS chronograph is available with a lacquered black dial, which I think would make it more interesting. I wouldn't have any reservations based on quality or performance. If you've already seen it in the steel and like its looks, then I don't see how it would be a bad move, if the price is right and you aren't in need of high WR; the AT chrono is only 150M.

IMO this is one sweet timpiece, from the design to the movement. Steve

I think it's lovely. I really like what Omega has been doing over the past couple of years. The brand is making up for the lost love that I've had with Breitling.

I like everything about it except the batons. they seem to overpower the rest of the design.

Omega has never quite done it for me, but this watch is really nice and looks like a great work watch.

I suppose it depends on what kind of work. The Aqua Terra line isn't as dressy as the De Ville line, but it's quite a bit dressier than the Planet Ocean and SMP. It strikes a balance between dress and sport, and is appropriate for any number of situations. It would great for professional or office work. It strikes me as being too nice to wear for manual labor, though.

I completely agree with all of that. I love the AT's in pics but when I tried one on I wasn't impressed. On the other hand I haven't seen this model in person, it looks like it might be a bit more interesting.

To my opinion, the watch is very well finished, but a little bit boaring. But it is selling really good. Not everyone wants something as fancy as a Breitling.

Thanks for the input. The black dial is definitely better looking than the white one, and interestingly the leather seems more comfortable than the croco i had on my navi world. WR is not really an issue. I think i might pull the trigger pretty soon.

I saw that it's around $5000 on prestigetime, does anyone know if that's before discount/tax refund?

Thanks! :D

The watch you've pictured retails for around $7k in the U.S. Prestige Time is a grey market seller. While $5000 is a pretty good price, the fact is if you can find an AD to discount around 25%, you could get the watch for only a little more than what Prestige Time is charging.
