I just came across this watch on Zenith's website and I haven't seen it before. I think it's a really nice piece, Zenith is really turning things around with some very nice releases lately. 42mm and only 11.8mm thick....that would work beautifully as a dress watch IMO. Nicely done Zenith!!

Haven't inquired on the MSRP but I'd guess around $6,500 ish. I'll check this week.

Interesting - it is a good size, very simple readable dial, a 30 min. chrono. thrown in, and looks to have excellent lume.

What a fantastic looking timepiece with the best chronograph movement ever, in my opinion.

Sounds like a good price as well. Zenith should sell a lot of these.

That price was just a guestimate based on what some other Zenith's are currently retailing for.

I've seen some European and Asian list prices for this piece that would put it between $8,000 and $8,500 list.

Interesting...I really like this, but not more than the standard 36,000 VPH. It wouldn't make sense to me that this one would be more it is. I am guessing that it will list lower than $8K especially with the recent price "decrease" by Zenith in the USA.

I found this online - http://www.lervikur.no/wp-content/uploa ... te-NOK.pdf, which shows it as NOK 45,500 - about $8,300 and change. More relevantly you can see the relative price compared to other models - Captain Moonphase Elite at 44,500, Captain Chronograph El Primero at 46,500 / 48,500, etc so right in that area.

Thanks for the info but you're wrong. US retail price is confirmed at $5,800 by multiple ADs. Great value for a great looking watch.

Wow Sergio, speak your mind why don't you.

As I posted, one of the examples of list price is NOK 45,500 - that's $8,300 and change at current exchange rates.

Not sure where I was wrong, I stated that some other prices translate to $8,000 - $8,500 which is true. I never said that is what US list price would be. When I posted the link I also pointed out that relative pricing was more relevant that absolute pricing.

We established a long time ago that you are adamant that people not put words in your mouth, so probably best if you don't do the same!

Great news that the piece is a lot cheaper than the pure currency conversion would suggest.

No need to get defensive....just clarifying the correct price.

If one can negotiate a solid discount, this watch can be had for under $4500...for an El Primero...WOW  Not many watch companies can offer an in-house piece at that price point.
