A woo hoo!!! My AD confirmed that I will be getting teh watch for much, much less than we both anticipated. 7000 USD to be exact!!! The official retail is around 7500USD.

This is a GREAT value watch, especially with the technical specifications in mind. Now I can put that "saved" 1.5K towards a MOP Chrono Evo  :?

Or a brain transplant perhaps - when are you next going swimming to 1000 metres? It's just a revamped Sub in essence...and anyway, who'd pay 7000$ for a watch?

Oooop's - brain fart - nice watch Altair :D (Just remembered my 270 will cost a little more...) When will it be here?

I'm with you on that one Altair. That's actually not bad value for what is IMHO the best looking Rolex ever. And that's even with the dodgy sub-crystal writing!

Just ignore Mr Grumpy....... I think he's still on a downer from having to give the DB7 back!

That's not bad.. for that kind of change I would be thinking about a Yachtmaster instead though.. I like the Deepsea.. and the size is nice, but it is like an oversized Sub. Everyone has the sub, and this is like the Mother of all Subs, which is nice. I actually like the writing..

I've never personally been a fan of the original Yachtmaster, BUT I really like the Yachtmaster II because it really shows their designers have moved on a bit. The cost is a little prohibitive for me though as they seem to insist on gold (or white gold) only.

I think the Deep Sea is the best Rolie in years.
