Post subject:  help with a new watch

hi all,

need to the site. i am looking to pick up a new watch. i currently have a breitling colt ocean automatic with a stainless steel braclet and white face. i also have a black tag carrerra automatic as well.

i am looking to spend between 2-3k and would like to get a watch in the 40-43MM face size, automatic, chronograph if possible in a stainless steel braclet with a white face.

i have looked at breitlings but i do not think one that is different enough from my existing one would be in my price range. any suggestions on another watch you might recommend? i havent looked for a watch in some time and was introduced to Oris. Anyone have any experience with them?

I am open to suggestions. Thanks for your help.

Jay

Try the following

Omega seamaster chronograph
http://www.prestigetime.com/item.php?item_id=3363

Omega seamaster chronograph - JB series
http://www.prestigetime.com/item.php?item_id=6517

they are of execellent quality, brilliant look, verstail functionality and within the price range

not with a white dial but still lovely watches :D

happy watch hunting :)

Oris is fantastic value for money. You may not find quite what you are looking for, but you'll get a great watch from them.

Don't have personal knowledge of Oris but they look good for the money. Search the forum as I seem to recall a few people here have commented on them.

2-3k what? £, US$, €, Yen? I'm assuming US$, please correct me if I'm wrong. Lot's of great watches in this price range. Probably won't quite run to a Speedy Pro but here's a few alternative ideas for you, mostly based on an ETA 7750 movement.

Have fun choosing!

I've been looking at picking up a Capeland S from Baume & Mercier. I think it hits on all of your points:

41mm
White Dial
Chrono
Strap or bracelet
